Welcome to IOSEM

The environment is an integral part of our existence as human beings and as a society. The maintenance of a good quality environment is essential to our long term survival well being.

The Institute of On-site Environmental Management aims at working with scientists, engineers, architects, metallurgists and indeed all professionals working either in their specific discipline, or in management to ensure that their awareness of environmental issues, the potential environmental ramifications of their actions and the need for environmental management influence the decisions made in daily operations. Most decisions can have environmental effects. Making appropriate decisions, which take into account environmental issues, is a part of everyone’s work, not just that of designated environmental managers.

IOSEM Meeting

Members are invited to attend the next IOSEM committee meeting to be held on Tuesday 5 June 2012.
